Report on SSC Felicitation Function – Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section)
The SSC Felicitation Function of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) for the Class of 2024–25 was held with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was organised to honour the dedicated efforts and commendable achievements of the meritorious students.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Vinay Bhole, Principal of M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce; the honourable Vice-President of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri Vinay Jog; the honourable Secretary of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri Dilip Pethe; and the respected Headmistress of the Secondary Section, Madam Smita Biwalkar. The Chief Guest was welcomed with a memento and a potted plant by Vice-President of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri Vinay Jog.
The programme was compered by Mrs. Vinitha Nair, while the felicitation proceedings were conducted by Mrs. Nita Banavali, Mr. Kalpesh Satra, and Mrs. Shashi Gupta. The welcome song by our school choir was presented under the guidance of Music Teacher Mrs. Vrushali Virkar. The singers were Aashraya Kudtarkar (6B), Abhidnya Pednekar (7A), Siddhi Walapkar (7A), Saanvi Gurav (7D), Aryan Deshpande (8B), Misshti Shetye (9B), and Dhaval Mandavkar (9D). They were accompanied by Saanvi Phatak (8C) on the Harmonium and Shreyan Gaonkar (9B) on the Pakhwaj.
An introduction of the Chief Guest was given by Dr. Sridher Iyer, after which an inspiring and informative address was delivered by Dr. Bhole, providing students with a thoughtful road map for the journey ahead. His words encouraged them to aim higher and embrace future challenges with confidence.
The highlight of the function was the felicitation ceremony, during which the students were honoured by Chief Guest Dr. Vinay Bhole, Vice-President Shri Vinay Jog, Secretary Shri Dilip Pethe, and Headmistress Madam Smita Biwalkar. Certificates, mementos, and donors’ prizes were presented as a mark of appreciation for their academic success.
A Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mrs. Vandana Menon, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, parents, and students for their presence and cooperation.
The Class of 2024–25 were encouraged to go forth and make a difference, carrying with them not only their academic success but also the values, friendships, and memories that would light their path ahead. On behalf of the entire school team, appreciation was expressed to all for being part of the memorable function, and best wishes were extended for the future.
The event concluded with the rendition of the Pasayadhan by Mrs. Vrushali Virkar, marking the close of an inspiring celebration.
