ABOUT SCHOOL

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School established by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association on 29th June 1982 has been named after the erudite fearless freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. It is a private unaided school. It was started in small way in 1982 in the Marathi Medium Primary School building. with about 120 students and three dedicated enthusiastic, hardworking teachers. Mrs. Sulabha Sule, who is rightly called the doyen of our school, Mrs. Shobhana Bijoor , the first Principal of the school are the soul of the school who braved the beginning and shaped it to what it is today. From 1994 onwards Mrs. Amita Bhide shouldered the responsibility of the Primary Section and Mrs. Sharada Limaye was the Principal of Secondary Section from 1999.

Mrs. Smita Biwalkar [M.A, B.Ed, M.Phil] has taken charge as the Headmistress of the school from June 2022.
Mrs. Smita Biwalkar’s journey in our institution began in June 1992 when she joined as an Assistant Teacher for the subject Marathi. Madam was appointed as the Supervisor in 2009 and later as the Deputy Headmistress in 2014.
Under her leadership, the school is being driven by a clear mission and vision guided by a commitment towards the holistic development of our students.
