An activity to foster a love for reading among the student was conducted in PTV English Medium Secondary Section

In August 2023, an enriching and educative library activity was conducted for three days at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section).

The students enthusiastically participated in this activity. The primary objective of this activity was to raise awareness among the students about the significance of reading and to foster a love for reading.

The ‘Young Readers’ of Standard V were assigned the task of creating bookmarks centered around the theme of ‘Quotes on Reading.’ The students crafted beautiful bookmarks with meaningful quotes that emphasized on the importance of reading.

Similarly, the ‘Curious Readers” of Standard VI prepared flashcards on the topic of ‘Reasons to Read.’ These flashcards highlighted the different benefits and significance of reading.

Furthermore, the ‘Enthusiastic Readers’ of Standard VII demonstrated their creativity by designing magazine covers on a diverse range of topics, including sports, arts, crafts, fashion, food recipes, health and yoga, among others.
