Darpan – Celebrating Four Years of Creativity and Expression
The Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s newsletter Darpan stands as a vibrant mirror of creativity, expression and educational excellence. Over the years, it has evolved into a meaningful platform that captures the artistic spirit of students while documenting the rich and memorable experiences across the Association’s schools.
Darpan celebrates student creativity in its many forms including articles, poems, artwork, interviews and reflections while also highlighting noteworthy achievements and significant school initiatives. It serves as a unifying medium that connects students, teachers, parents and the wider school community, fostering a shared sense of pride and belonging.
On 26 January 2026, Darpan proudly celebrated its fourth anniversary, marking four years of nurturing communication, inspiring young minds and strengthening bonds among all stakeholders.
Under the able guidance of Madam Mrs Janhavi Khandekar, Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association and Editor of Darpan, the newsletter has grown into an impactful publication that gives students a voice and encourages meaningful self-expression.
This milestone year gained added significance with the launch of Digital Darpan on YouTube on 26 January 2026 at 9.30 a.m. The digital edition represents an important step forward, extending the reach of the newsletter and offering students valuable exposure to contemporary media platforms while presenting their work in a dynamic new format.
Beyond celebrating student achievements, Darpan showcases the wide range of academic, cultural, literary and co-curricular activities conducted across the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s schools. It reflects the Association’s unwavering commitment to holistic education and has earned immense popularity for its engaging, enriching and thought-provoking content.
Each edition is eagerly awaited, making Darpan an integral part of the educational journey.
Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) expresses its sincere gratitude to the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association for its continued support and encouragement. Following the formal announcement of the launch of Digital Darpan, the school felicitated teachers Vinitha Nair, Sonia Mullick and Khushi Kapadia in recognition of their dedicated efforts in coordinating with staff and students to curate meaningful content. The mementoes and bouquets were presented by the Headmistress, Mrs Smita Biwalkar, who leads Team Darpan at PTVEMS under the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association.
The school extends Its heartfelt appreciation to Team Darpan for their unwavering commitment to nurturing a love for reading, writing and literature among students.
