District-Level Karate Competition
The District Sports Officer organised the District-Level Karate Competition on the 13th and 14th of November at Andheri. Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (English Medium) proudly celebrated the exceptional performances of our students, who showcased grit, determination, and true sporting spirit throughout the event.
Our karatekas achieved commendable results:
Rudhra Tivarekar (Std X-A) – 2nd Place in 58–62 kg (U-17 Boys)
Sharvil Salvi (VI-A) – 2nd Place in 35–40 kg (U-14 Boys)
Arya Gawade (VI-A) – 2nd Place in 24–26 kg (U-14 Girls)
Tejasvi Mangavkar (VI-A) – 2nd Place in 22–24 kg (U-14 Girls)
Mahi Patole (VI-A) – 3rd Place in Above 50 kg (U-14 Girls)
Diti Kathale ( IX-D)– 1st Place in 32–36 kg (U-17 Girls); selected for the Division-Level Competition in Thane
A special mention was made of Rudhra Tivarekar for his remarkable performance, which earned him qualification for the State-Level Competition, a proud achievement for the school.
A special acknowledgement was also given to Diti Kathale for securing first place and advancing to the Division-Level Competition.
Each of these achievements reflects not just medals but the hard work, dedication, and passion our students bring to their sport. They have truly made the school proud.
