The Members of Board of Directors, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri. Anil Ganu and Vice-President Shri. Vinay Jog joined the Republic Day celebrations. Smt. Janhavi Khandekar Chief Coordinator, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association too was present. We also welcomed Shri. Nikhil Ballal, the founder of India’s first digital and print magazine KYT (Know Your Town), Executive Editor of Marathi Daily, Thane Vaibhav. Salute to the National Flag and the pledge were followed by the march past of the students of Std IX. President of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri. Anil Ganu Sir accepted the salute.
Our Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association has published a newsletter – A unique and creative way to communicate with parents, teachers and all our stakeholders. A symphony of creative expressions, this special newsletter is a periodical which celebrates the magical moments witnessed in our Association’s institutions. It was released by President Shri. Anil Ganu Sir in the presence of Shri. Vinay Jog Sir, Shri. Nikhil Ballal and all the others present for the Republic Day celebrations. This was followed by a group song led by our school choir. The song ‘Hind Desh Ke Niwasi Sabi Jan Ek Hai’ which was sung by our students celebrates the beauty and significance of the Indian diversity. An inspiring speech was delivered by Mrs. Vandana Menon, Class Teacher of IX C. Teacher’s speech was followed by an impressive speech by our student from IX A, Ms. Shraddha Pradhan.
An Inter-House singing competition had been organised and the prize winning House, C.V. Raman presented their song: जयोस्तुते श्री महन्मंगले शिवास्पदे शुभदे – a beautiful composition by Swantraveer Savarkar. The programme ended with the felicitation of the prize winners of Individual and Group Singing Competitions. They received their certificates and prizes from our Headmistress Mrs. Smita Biwalkar. The art work for the programme was beautifully executed by our Art Teachers, Deputy Headmistress, Mrs. Yamini Dalvi and Ms. Beena Godambe. Pledging to work towards maintaining the unity and integrity of our country, as a school, on this auspicious day we strengthen our resolve to take our nation to greater heights of glory.
