On Wednesday 16.9.22, The Fireless cooking competition was held for the Interact club members in PTV English Medium School. The aim of the competition was to show the students the possibilities of eating healthy and without the use of gas. Students were divided into groups to prepare the dishes and they would be scored on the basis of nutritional value,questions asked by judges ,cleanliness and hygiene ,and discipline. The students came up with their own creative ideas on what their dishes should be and they learned to work together on everything from the aesthetic to the taste of the dish. The dishes varied from a wide variety from tortillas to sandwiches to sev puri. They were allotted a time of 30-45 minutes to put together their dishes. There were 9 groups in total. They were as follows-

And Finally as the judges, various teachers and the principal came in to look at the final dishes made by the students, the scores were in. The Prize winners were
Group VII (Dish – Tortillas)
Group IX (Dish – Gulkand Laddos)
Group VI (Dish – Protein Bomb) & Group III (Dish – Sev Puri)
On the ending note, the entire activity was a success and the students shared their dishes with each other after the announcement of the prizes and showed the unity within the club. We’d like to thank the teachers incharge of the Interact club for this undertaking , Radhika Dalal teacher and Mrudula Phatak teacher.
