Inauguration of Literary Club ‘Enrich’

The inauguration ceremony of the Literary Club ‘Enrich’ was held on 25th July 2025 in the school hall, marking the beginning of a vibrant literary journey for the young learners of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section). The occasion was graced by the presence of Madam Mrs Medha Shastri, who was invited as the Chief Guest. Madam Shastri is currently serving as the In-charge of the English Department at Sathaye College, Vile Parle, Mumbai.

The club was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, following which a variety of student performances were presented. A touching poem was recited by Saisha Tawde of Class 5C, while Lucas Kinny of Class 6A narrated a thought-provoking story on the importance of knowledge, through which the value of education as a lifelong asset was highlighted.

The introduction of the Chief Guest was given by Vice Commander Aditya Poojary. An inspiring speech on the significance of developing reading habits was delivered by Mrs Shastri. A one-to-one discussion with students was conducted, making the session highly interactive and impactful.

Certificates were awarded to the winners of the handwriting competition, which had been organised for students of Classes 5 and 6. A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Boy, Master Om Bendre. The entire event was smoothly compered by the Head Girl, Miss Dhwani Mehta.

The function was brought to a close with a heartfelt emphasis on the importance of literature in shaping young minds. Students were encouraged to cultivate reading as a habit and view books as lifelong companions. Through the inauguration of Club ‘Enrich’, a new chapter of creativity and expression was opened for the learners of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section).
