Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awareness & Outreach Program
An Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awareness & Outreach Program was organised on 20th January 2026 at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s Institute of Management (PTVAIM).
The programme aimed to introduce secondary school students to the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and to create awareness about finance-related career opportunities.
The session was graced by Mrs. Janhavi Khandekar, Chief Academic and Administrative Officer (CAAO), Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, and Mrs. Smita Biwalkar, Headmistress, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section). Their presence and encouragement added value to the programme and motivated the students.
The programme was conducted with the objective of sensitising senior secondary students towards entrepreneurship as a meaningful career option. It helped students understand the close connection between finance and entrepreneurial opportunities. Students were encouraged to recognise everyday financial problems and explore how innovative thinking can convert them into practical ideas and small ventures. The session also highlighted the importance of financial awareness, decision-making skills and planning for future academic and career pathways.
As part of the activity, informative stalls were set up on various financial instruments such as Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Post Office Schemes, Public Provident Fund (PPF), Stocks, Banking, Gold, and Real Estate. These stalls explained financial concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner, making the information accessible and relevant for school students.
To enhance engagement, interactive games and quizzes were conducted, encouraging active participation and reinforcing learning in an enjoyable way.
The programme successfully promoted financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking and awareness of career opportunities among students. It provided them with basic exposure to financial instruments and inspired curiosity towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event was well-organised and ensured meaningful interaction, contributing positively to the students’ experiential learning experience.
