Members of the Young Explorers Nature Club embarked on a nature trail

On the 15th of September 2023, the members of the Young Explorers Nature Club from Class VII and IX of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) embarked on a nature trail. The trail was organised at the Conservation Education Centre (CEC) of Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS).

The objective of this excursion was to realise the motto of our Nature Club: Look, Listen, Live, Learn…..This activity helped provide our students with an immersive experience of learning from nature.

Gently finding their way through the captivating trails of nature, the students witnessed the beauty of the varied plant species, insects and butterflies. The picturesque landscapes and babbling brooks instilled a sense of awe and wonder among them.

The trail was followed by an enriching audio-visual interaction. This helped enhance the students’ knowledge by offering a deeper insight into the varied elements of nature.

As John Muir rightly said, ‘In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.’ This activity was indeed a reminder of these words.

We thank our Nature Club advisors Mr. Kalpesh Satra and Mrs. Shashi Gupta for organizing this enriching learning experience for our students.
