Navratri Celebration

At Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section), a teacher delivered a speech on the significance of Navratri. She explained that the festival, meaning ‘nine nights’, is dedicated to the worship of Shakti, the divine feminine power. The story of Maa Durga’s victory over Mahishasura and Lord Ram’s triumph over Ravana was shared, symbolising the eternal victory of good over evil. The teacher also highlighted how Navratri is celebrated across India through Ghat Sthapana, garba, dandiya, and Durga Puja. She concluded by inspiring students to follow the values of discipline, self-control, dedication, and unity.
