Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) Clinches Giles Shield Under-14 Title, Secures Elite Group Spot

A proud and historic milestone was achieved by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) as the Giles Shield Under-14 Boys (C Group) Final was won against High School Sanpada (Vivekanand Sankul).

The final was played on 26 December 2025 at the MCA Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, Kandivali (West).

Batting Performance

Batting first, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School posted a formidable total of 231 runs.

The innings was confidently anchored by the captain, Atharva Parab (Std. VIII-D), who remained unbeaten on 58 runs.

A match-winning knock of 71 runs was played by Devesh Madnani (Std. VIII-B), for which he was deservedly awarded the Player of the Match.

A valuable contribution of 39 runs was added by Atharva Dingankar (Std. VIII-C), strengthening the team’s total.

Bowling Performance

While chasing the target, High School Sanpada was restricted to 193 runs through a disciplined and determined bowling effort.

Devraj Kamthe (Std. VIII-C) led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Nakul Salunkhe (Std. VII-B) claimed two wickets.

Atharva Dingankar (Std. VIII-C) and Abhir Telange (Std. VII-A) supported the effort with one wicket each.
