Proud Achievement of Our Student – Riyana Sarangdhar

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) congratulates Riyana Sarangdhar of Std V,
Div D on her remarkable achievements in Karate at both national and international levels.

Riyana secured First Place in Kata at the National Karate Tournament organised by the World Dōteki Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation in association with the Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Kyokai. The tournament was held at Hill Zill, Bordi on 28th December 2025.

She also delivered an impressive performance at the 31st Euro–Asia International WFSKO Open Karate Championship organised by the World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organisation and held in Mumbai on 8th February 2026. In this championship, she secured:

* Second Place in Kata (Age Group: 10–11 years)

* Third Place in Kumite (Age Group: 10–11 years)

We commend her dedication, discipline and perseverance. The school extends its best wishes to Riyana for continued success in her future endeavours.
