Road Safety Awareness Session for Std. 9 Students

‘Road safety is not just a rule, it is a responsibility we all share.’

On 18th July 2025, an informative Road Safety Awareness Session was conducted at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium Secondary Section for the students of Std. 9. Organised to promote safe road practices among young citizens, the session featured Mr. Aniket Sonawane from United Way Mumbai as the keynote speaker. The event was graced by ACP Khandagale Sir along with other traffic inspectors. Our teacher Mrs Sonia Mullick introduced the session.

Mr. Sonawane emphasised the importance of road safety, highlighting key aspects such as vehicle maintenance, road signs, and lane discipline. Real-life video clips were presented to demonstrate the consequences of negligence and to stress the importance of being aware of traffic rules. Students also gained valuable insights into emergency response protocols and essential helpline numbers.

 The session made a lasting impact, instilling a strong sense of awareness and responsibility among the students.
