Sanskrit Dhruva Competition

Sanskrit Dhruva  competition was held on Monday 18th August 2025.this year the theme was Bhagvadgeeta. Including senior, junior and teachers category, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium school Vileparle had taken part in 18 events.

 A troop of 53 students and 3 teachers with the assistance of 3 choreographers and 2 music and light directors and Dr. Shreehari Gokarnakar as a lyricist for all the 4 songs, our school performed at Vaze Kelkar college Mulund.

We are very proud to share a series of achievements of this festival.

Junior solo singing

3rd prize- Arnesh Prashant Khare 5B

Song was based on the fact that Arjuna pleaded  Krishna to bless him and guide him when he was totally collapsed with the decision on the battlefield.

 

Solo singing – seniors- 1st prize

The song was based on the fact that after watching vishwaroop, Arjuna pleading Krishna to come back to his original form.

The song was based on the theme that   disturbed Arjuna is invoked by krishna to fight.

The song was based on mind and it’s three moods, sattva, raja ,tama and ultimately it resorts to shreekrishna to be sattva forever.

Both the dances were very well choreographed by Saniya Pethe (ex student) and Ketaki Deshpande  (ex student) with the assistance of Chinmaye Sardesai, Sharvee Vaidya and Arya Mahade (all ex students )

The final sound tracks were recorded and arranged and mixed by Vedant Jog and Hrishikesh Desai. Vocals were given by Shreehari Gokarnakar and Vedant Jog.

This event was based on the preachings of Krishna as a teacher and learning of Arjuna as a student.

For the past 9 years Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium school has been taking part in this event. This is our 10th year of the event. We successfully completed 10 years- one entire decade in true worship of Sanskrit language with all the tender young minds with their cognitive and affective engagement in the entire festival.
