Students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School remembered the great leader, a true patriot, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with love and gratitude
यशोवान् कीर्तिमान् सामर्थ्यवान् वरदः।
पुण्यवान् नीतिवान् जनताजानन् राजा॥
Our King : glorious, renowned, able, generous, virtuous, prudent, and knower of his people….19th February, 2023 – The 393rd Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, our great leader.
On this auspicious day, we at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School remembered the great leader, a true patriot, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with love and gratitude.
We pledged to work towards a better and brighter India while adhering to the ideals and values which Maharaj exemplified through his life and work.
The following were the activities organised:
Our Headmistress Mrs. Smita Biwalkar garlanded the photo frame of Shivaji Maharaj.
Our teacher Miss Diksha Waroshe gave a beautiful speech on Shivaji Maharaj – An inspiration, an ideal ruler. In her speech teacher rightly observed: “महाराजांची मनोभूमिका आणि वागणे पाहिले म्हणजे कौटिल्याने अर्थशास्त्रात कल्पिलेला आदर्श राजा प्रत्यक्षात होऊन गेल्याचे दिसून येते.”
This was followed by the beautiful rendition of the song : खबरदार जर टाच मारुनी जाल पुढें, चिंधड्या- उडविन राइ राइ एवढ्या! by our student Miss. Paalvi Vedpathak. (VIII D)
The programme ended with a powada which glorified and celebrated the great deeds of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharaj’s vast legacy.
The singers were trained by our Music teacher Mrs. Vrushali Virkar.
The beautiful board work, a tribute to Maharaj was designed our Art Teachers, Deputy Headmistress Mrs. Yamini Dalvi and Ms. Beena Godambe.
