Vidnyan Natyotsav 2025
The Regional Level (District Level) Science Drama Festival was organised by the Department of Education on 17th October 2025. All the first-prize-winning dramas from various zones participated in this event.
Our school, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, presented a science drama in Marathi based on the inspiring life of Dr. Kamala Bhagvat, the first Indian woman scientist to receive a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
We are proud to share that our school secured the First Prize at the Regional Level, along with a cash award of ₹3,000. The drama was scripted by Dr. Vidnyapana Gokarnakar and directed by Mr. Hrishikesh Desai.
Title of the Drama: Kamala, Tusi Great Ho…!!!

Central Idea:
The play revolves around a group of young students from a school science club who, through a treasure hunt organised by the Marathi Vidnyan Parishad, discover the remarkable journey of Dr. Kamala Bhagvat. Her pioneering research on proteins, nutrition, legumes, and healthy diets, and her work on Neera for the welfare of tribal communities in India, form the core of the presentation.
