Young Explorer’s Nature Club of PTV English Medium School Secondary Section conducted a Seed ball-making workshop for Nature Club members

On 23rd August,2023, Young Explorer’s Nature Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School Secondary Section conducted a Seed ball-making workshop for Nature Club members of Std VII. Mrs. Rashmi Joshi, an Environment Consultant taught the students the technique of crafting Tamarind and Sagargota seed balls allowing the students to ‘roll hope in their palms.’ The aim of the workshop was to introduce students to the concept of afforestation and ecological balance, emphasizing how “little hands can plant big dreams.” The activity was a resounding success, that established a tangible connect between environmental awareness and action. The participants’ enthusiasm and the significant number of seed balls created reflect the students’ dedication to environmental preservation. This endeavor beautifully combined education, environmental consciousness, and hands-on engagement, encapsulating the essence of nurturing a sustainable planet. We extend our gratitude to our honourable guest, Mrs. Rashmi Joshi and our Nature Club Advisors, Mrs. Anjali Bhoj, Mr. Kalpesh Satra, Mrs. Shashi Gupta, Mrs. Nita Banavali and Mrs. Kavita Kapoor.
