Celebration of Platinum Jubilee of Indian Independence.

The Platinum Jubilee of Indian Independence was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, Secondary Section. The spirit of patriotism was in the air.

We marked the day with
Joint Secretary, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association Shri Hemant Bhatawadekar Sir hoisting the National Flag.
This was followed by other programmes.

Apart from cleaning the classrooms and decorating the same, we also conducted the following activities to commemorate the 75th year of Indian Independence:

1. A tree plantation drive.
2. A story telling competition.
3. A drawing competition.

The above activities helped not only to keep alive the spirit of patriotism in them, but also made them aware of their duties and responsibilities towards their country….the environment they are a part of.
