Lecture on Chandrayaan-3 for the Science Club members of Std VIII & IX

On Friday, the 7th of July, 2023 a lecture was arranged for Science Club members of Class VIII and IX. The topic was ‘Chandrayaan 3.’

Chandrayaan 3 is India’s third lunar mission, conducted by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation). The mission is set to begin on 14 July 2023, according to ISRO. The objective of this mission is to successfully deploy a lander and rover on the lunar surface in the lunar highlands near the South Pole of the moon by August 2023.

The speaker, Mr. Ambarish Pawar, spoke to the students about the details of Chandrayaan 3. He highlighted the special features of the mission and its importance as an indigenous project – a matter of pride for our country.

The students also engaged in a question-answer session with the speaker. The inaugural event of the Science Club activities for the new academic year 2023-24 was indeed enriching and insightful.
