Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) celebrated the 75th Republic Day with utmost patriotism and zealous fervour.
The National Flag was respectfully saluted, followed by a rendition of the National Anthem. Presenting the event, Dr. Vidnyapana Gokarnakar, the anchor of the day, invited our Headmistress, Madam Smita Biwalkar, to administer the oath of allegiance to the National Flag, which the students wholeheartedly took.
The pledge was followed a march past by the students of Std IX. The day was embellished with a captivating and well-coordinated lezim performance, serving as the highlight of the event. We extend our gratitude to our Physical Education Teachers, Mr. Jitendra Patil Sir and Mr. Paresh Ipte Sir, for their tireless efforts in training the students
This was followed by the rendition of the song:
“जननी जन्मभूमि स्वर्ग से महान है,
ये तन है मन है और प्राण है ॥”
The singers and the students were guided and trained by our Music Teacher Mrs. Vrushali Virkar.
Following this, a speech was delivered by our teacher, Mrs. Vinitha Nair, enlightening the students with her insightful thoughts.
She concluded her address with the words:
“Let us, unitedly, reaffirm our commitment to the principles upon which our constitution is built. Together, let us strive towards forging a stronger and more prosperous India. May we emerge as a resolute nation, standing as a symbol of hope and an inspiration for the world.”
A motivational speech in Hindi was delivered by our student, Vanshika Jain from IX A instilling profound love and devotion towards our beloved nation within the hearts of all present.
On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, we also celebrated the first anniversary of our newsletter, Darpan – A symphony of creative expression. In recognition of her contributions in providing content through effective coordination with the staff and students, our teacher, Mrs. Vinitha Nair, was felicitated.
To showcase the musical talents of our students, an Inter-House singing competition was organized on the occasion of Republic Day. The winning House, C.V. Raman, mesmerized the audience with their rendition of the beautiful composition by Swantraveer Savarkar, entitled “सागरा, प्राण तळमळला, ने मजसी ने परत मातृभूमीला”.
The program culminated with the recognition and felicitation of the winners of the Individual and Group Singing Competitions. Certificates and prizes were presented to the winners by our Headmistress Mrs. Smita Biwalkar, as our Deputy Headmistress Mrs. Yamini Dalvi, announced their names.
The program concluded with a soul-stirring rendition of the National Song. Reaffirming our commitment to uphold the values of our republic and to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation, we dispersed, filling the air with a promise of a radiant tomorrow.
