Felicitation programme of the SSC batch of 2023-24

On 31st August 2024, Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School organised a felicitation programme for the SSC batch of 2023-24. The event was hosted by our teacher, Mrs Minal Deo, who graciously welcomed the dignitaries both on and off the dais. The programme began with a melodious prayer sung by our student, Shravani Wagle, accompanied by students Tejomay Oke and Vedang Joshi on musical instruments.

The Chief Guest of the function was Shri Shreekant Marathe, a retired Professor and Chartered Accountant. We were honoured and privileged to have the President of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Shri Anil Ganu Sir, present to share in the joyous occasion and felicitate our students.

Also present on the occasion were the parents of the meritorious students.

Our Headmistress, Mrs Smita Biwalkar, delivered the welcome address, where she acknowledged the students’ outstanding achievements in the S.S.C. exams, attributing their success to the collective efforts of students, parents, staff and most importantly the support and cooperation received from our parent body, the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association. She also recognised the contributions of everyone involved in achieving the outstanding results of our students.

Following this, our teacher, Mrs Rathi Pillai, introduced the Chief Guest, Shri Shreekant Marathe, highlighting his remarkable achievements. Shri Marathe then delivered a powerful and motivational speech, reminding the students that “the only effective source of knowledge is experience.”

The prize distribution ceremony followed, with our teachers, Mr Amit Palav and Mr Rajendra Sanga, announcing the names of the meritorious students. The students were felicitated with donor-sponsored prizes and certificates. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by our teacher, Mrs Vinitha Nair, and a heartfelt rendition of the Pasayadan prayer by our Music teacher Mrs Vrushali Virkar.

We wish our students all the very best as they continue to learn, grow and shine in their chosen fields.
