At Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, devotion met responsibility as the Young Explorers’ Nature Club organised an eco-friendly Ganesh idol-making workshop in collaboration with the esteemed NGO Parisar Asha on 21st August 2025.

With clay-stained hands and joyful hearts, the students of Standards VII and VIII shaped their own idols of Lord Ganesha using Shalu mati (natural clay). Under the patient guidance of skilled artists, the children gave life to their imaginations.

For many, it was not just about creating an idol—it was about forming a bond with tradition and realising that celebrating a festival can be both meaningful and mindful. The smiles on their faces, the silence of concentration, and the pride in their creations told a story words often cannot.

Soon, these idols will be lovingly decorated with natural, eco-friendly colours, adding beauty without causing harm. By choosing a path of care and creativity, our students honoured both Lord Ganesha and Mother Nature.

It was more than a workshop—it was a memory made with clay, colour, and consciousness.
