ENRICH – Inter-House Debate Competition
ENRICH, the English Literary Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section), organised an Inter-House Debate Competition on Saturday, 29th August 2026, for the students of Class X.
The topic for the debate was ‘Should social media be banned for children under the age of 16?’
After qualifying through the preliminary rounds, Kusumagraj House and J. C. Bose House emerged as the finalists.
Kusumagraj House spoke for the motion, while J. C. Bose House spoke against the motion.
The competition was judged by our Deputy Headmistress, Madam Mrs. Vasundhara Pandey, and our teacher Mrs. Minal Deo.
The participants presented their arguments with confidence, clarity and enthusiasm. The competition promoted critical thinking, effective communication, respect for diverse perspectives, responsible expression and collaborative learning.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that J. C. Bose House emerged as the winner of the Inter-House Debate Competition.

The judges also awarded a Certificate of Merit to Miss Aashni Rupesh Pradnya Kadam of Class X B, J. C. Bose House, in appreciation of her impressive performance in the debate.
