Day3 – Krida Diwas

  On 24 July 2024 Parle Tilak Vilyalga English Medium school celebrated Krida Din as part of the Shiksha Saptak festivities. This day was dedicated for promoting physical fitness, traditional sports, and mental agility through a series of well-organised activities and board display.

  The Krida Din event commenced with the lighting of the torch by our school Swimming Champion Siya Devrukhkar from STD student. After the torch bearing ceremony the next event was Lezim performance, which was a vibrant display of rhythmic movements and coordination. Students dressed in school uniform, showcased their skills with synchronized steps and energetic formations. The Lezim dance not only highlighted the rich Indian. cultural heritage but also emphasised the importance of physical fitness and teamwork.

  Following the Lezim performance, the focus shifted to the Chess Competition Where students from various Standerds participated in intense matches. Chess, known for enhancing cognitive skills and strategic thinking, saw enthusiastic participation.

    In addition to these activities, a special session on Surya Namaskar was conducted, promoting the significance of Yoga and holistic Well-being. Students gathered on the School Hall and performed the Surya be Namasakar, known for its numerous Health benefits, helped students understand the importance of integrating yoga into their daily routine for Physical and mental well-being.

  Krida Diwas was a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education, where academic excellence goes hand in hand with Physical development and the inculcation of Sportsmanship Values.
