This scholarly work offers an in-depth exploration of the concept of Paramāṇu as expounded in Maharshi Kaṇāda’s Vaiśeṣika philosophy. Drawing upon the Vaiśeṣika Sūtra and twenty-seven traditional commentaries, the book presents a comprehensive comparative study with the Buddhist, Nyāya, Āyurvedic and modern scientific perspectives, highlighting the enduring relevance of ancient Indian knowledge systems.
