Electrical Safety Awareness Campaign

The Science Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, Secondary Section organised an Electrical Safety Awareness Campaign on 23rd June 2026 in collaboration with Adani Electricity Group as a prelude to National Electrical Safety Week.

The session for Std. VIII students was conducted by Mr. Suraj Bawane, Mr. Ravindra Jagtap and Mr. Sanjay Parab. Students learnt essential electrical safety practices, including avoiding fallen electric wires, staying away from waterlogged areas near electrical installations, never handling electrical appliances with wet hands, and reporting electrical hazards to adults or the electricity authorities. Videos and demonstrations helped them understand the dangers of electricity during the monsoon.

The interactive session encouraged students to adopt safe practices and spread electrical safety awareness at home. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to the Adani Electricity team.
