Farewell to the Class X students of PTVEM Secondary Section

“It’s not the days in life we remember; rather, it’s the moments.” – Walt Disney

A fond farewell was given to the class X students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School. The program was initiated by our teacher Mrs. Minal Deo, the compere of the day, who requested the Headmistress, Madam Smita Biwalkar, to address the students. Madam Biwalkar’s speech included inspirational words about the significance of self-discipline and its role in driving success and achievement. She emphasised the need for hard work, focus and perseverance to accomplish goals.

Following this, our teacher Dr. Srider Iyer delivered a speech in which he urged the students to keep alive the legacy of the school by living the values with which the school has armed them. He reminded them of the nine hallmarks etched in each of them by this iconic institution – our school.

Students then took turns delivering speeches and engaging in dialogues, where they recalled beautiful memories and expressed their gratitude towards their teachers and non-teaching staff for their cooperation.

The farewell function also featured dance, songs and music, adding to the memorable ambiance.

A touching video, compiled by our teacher Mr. Amit Palav, with special assistance from our teacher Mrs. Kalpana Ved, brought back the happy moments and memories associated with the ten years spent in the school. It included heartfelt messages from the teachers for the students too. We thank our student Aarya Chavan X- C for special assistance provided in editing the video.

The students had an opportunity for photo ops with their teachers and friends. They enjoyed snacks and sweets arranged for them and bid farewell to everyone present.

As Madam Biwalkar mentioned, this was not a final goodbye. The school will always be waiting, eager to hear about the students’ triumphs and share in their joys.

Goodbye class of 2024!

Here’s wishing each one of you all the very best for your upcoming examinations!
