“The beauty of Science lies in its ability to make the complex simple, and the unknown familiar.”
~CV RAMAN

Science Day was observed on 27th February, 2024 to commemorate the immense contributions of Sir CV Raman, a revered scientist who won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on light scattering. The theme for Science Day 2024 ‘Indigenous Technology for Viksit Bharat,’ focuses on indigenous innovations.

Mrs. Smruti Mogrey, our teacher, delivered a speech emphasising the importance of nurturing a scientific temper and embracing a rational and scientific approach. She urged students to commit to fostering a culture of innovation, research and discovery for the nation’s progress.

The Science Club organised a guest lecture on 29th February 2024 on Dental Hygiene and Care. Dr. Ajinkya Suresh Deorukhkar, our alumnus and the speaker, shared insights on making a career in dentistry, recent advances, brushing techniques and oral hygiene maintenance. The session was interactive, with students engaging in discussions and asking questions.

Science Club members also presented the work of unsung Indian Scientists through a PowerPoint presentation. Boardwork too was designed to provide information to students.

Science Day served as a platform to inspire students to explore the realms of science, embrace innovation and contribute to the progress and prosperity of the nation.
