Installation Ceremony of Interact Clubs

The newly appointed office-bearers of the Interact Club of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, Secondary Section, and the teacher coordinators, Mrs Radhika, Mrs Mrudula Phatak and Mrs Mithilesh Singh, attended the Installation Ceremony of the Interact Clubs organised by the Rotary Club of Bombay Airport at Khar Education Society on 17 July 2026.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a prayer to Goddess Saraswati and the National Anthem presented by the choir.

Mrs Harsha Mehta, President of the Rotary Club of Bombay Airport for 2026–27, addressed the gathering and unveiled the Rotary Club’s theme for the year, ‘Be the Change’.

The Chief Guest, Mrs Pratibha Jha, encouraged the students to be digitally responsible and to think carefully before posting anything online. AKS PP Ashmi Parekh, President of the Rotary Club for 2025–26, motivated the Interactors and Rotarians to perform their responsibilities sincerely and give their best in every role they undertook.

Rtn Piyush Shah informed the gathering about the various programmes planned by the Rotary Club, including Sanskar, Udaan and the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme.

The newly appointed student office-bearers were then formally installed and presented with badges according to their respective posts. Eleven Interact Clubs from different schools participated in the ceremony, including three schools that had recently joined the Rotary Club.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The students were presented with food boxes and magnets bearing inspiring quotations.
