Investiture Ceremony 2026–27

The Investiture Ceremony of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Secondary Section for the academic year 2026–27 was held with great pride and enthusiasm on 30th June 2026 in the presence of our respected Headmistress, Mrs. Smita Biwalkar, Deputy Headmistress, Mrs. Vasundhara Pandey, Supervisor, Mrs. Vinitha Nair, teachers and students.

The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The programme began by highlighting the rigorous selection process undertaken each year to identify students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, integrity, responsibility and commitment.

Parth Adarkar of Class IX C was appointed as the Head Boy and Sthira Divekar of Class IX D as the Head Girl for the academic year. The House Commanders and Vice Commanders elected through the school’s democratic election process were also announced.

 

The Commanders and Vice Commanders of the four Houses are:

  1. V. Raman House

Commander: Aditya Varankar – 9C

Vice Commander: Ananya Dure – 9B

 

Kusumagraj House

Commander: Devansh Ghadi – 9D

Vice Commander: Harshit Ayare – 9D

 

Premchand House

Commander: Harsh Kadam – 9D

Vice Commander: Diya Varma – 9B

Commander: Daivik Patole – 9B

Vice Commander: Mudra Zagade – 9C

 

Students from all houses participated enthusiastically in the elections, exercising their right to vote responsibly.

The elected student leaders were invited to the dais to receive their badges, symbolising the responsibilities and trust bestowed upon them. The election witnessed an impressive voter turnout, with 1,135 votes cast, recording an 88% voting rate. Notably, the election was conducted flawlessly, with not a single invalid vote.

The occasion also acknowledged the invaluable guidance of our Headmistress, Deputy Headmistress and Supervisor. Appreciation was extended to the teachers-in-charge, Mr. Jitendra Patil, Mr. Paresh Ipte, Mrs. Swati Thakur Desai, Mrs. Minal Deo and Mrs. Kavita Kapoor for their dedicated efforts in conducting the elections smoothly. The polling officers, former student leaders and school support staff were also thanked for their wholehearted cooperation.

The outgoing Head Boy, Head Girl, House Commanders and Vice Commanders were appreciated for their dedicated service and exemplary leadership throughout their tenure. The programme concluded with congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected Student Council, encouraging them to lead with humility, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility while serving the school.
