The 12th International Day of Yoga celebrated at PTVEMS with great enthusiasm
The movement we practise today shapes the health, balance and mobility we enjoy tomorrow. Yoga empowers us to lead happier, healthier and more mindful lives.
The 12th International Day of Yoga was celebrated enthusiastically at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Secondary Section) by the students of Std. V to X. The programme was conducted by Mr Rishabh Upadhyay and his team from New Age Yoga Institute, whose expertise and engaging approach made the sessions both informative and enjoyable.
The activities included classroom sessions led by experienced yoga instructors as well as practical sessions in the school hall. Students were introduced to the importance of yoga and holistic well-being. They practised neuro-muscular exercises designed to enhance alertness, concentration and memory. Guided meditation techniques helped them experience relaxation, mindfulness and inner calm.
A special session was also organised for the staff members during which valuable tips on maintaining physical and mental well-being were shared. The participants also practised simple relaxation techniques that can be incorporated into daily life.
The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr Rishabh Upadhyay and the entire team of New Age Yoga Institute for their dedication, guidance and inspiring sessions. Their efforts encouraged students and staff alike to embrace yoga as a way of life and to appreciate its lasting benefits for physical, mental and emotional well-being.
